The feelings are real – but you aren’t comfortable talking about them. Being ashamed you can’t cope on your own pervades your thinking and keeps you from sharing with anyone.

Yes, every woman faces many challenges, yet many suffer in silence as they feel burdened by self-doubt, worries about children, their relationships, family issues, and other problems. You’ve even been told it’s wrong to worry.

Expressing worries to those in your life is hard.

It seems as if no one cares to listen to your story – the one you carry inside for fear of being judged.

It’s time to lift the burden.

I am here to help as you tell your story in a safe place where someone will listen attentively to what you have to say. If you’re afraid and worried about judgment, there is none in my counseling space.

Here, you will find the relief and release you’ve wished for so long. It will feel so good to let it go.

Together, we will identify the situations, difficult hurts, and disappointments that have harmed you and kept you stuck, broken, and unable to have a sense of health, wholeness and, well-being.

We will identify your unhelpful and unhealthy coping patterns. From there, we will decide on ways to help you heal.

Therapy can help lift the burden, but I must be honest that therapy is not easy.

Motivation and a desire to change help make therapy work best. You must be willing to discuss what isn’t working presently and be present and active throughout our time in and between sessions.

The saying, “Anything worth having never comes easy,” is never more accurate than when in therapy. What is worth the work is finally seeing the light shining through the darkness.
